There is a solution which includes banging it on the knee. It seems to have worked for quite a lot of people...

I wouldnt try that, that seems to be for issues witht he heatsink/solder joints. There are other answers in the thread to try first

The solution led me to ps site and they asked few questions and now they have sent me an email to send it to them. they have given me postage label too.
Should I send it?

It had asked me for the serial number on the ps4.
Does that mean there is warranty left on it?

Yes you have tested it the sony forums have confirmed its faul as have sony

No. OP doesn't even know if it's the original PS4.

Ebay numpties who are prepared to scam somebody are probably obtuse enough not to realize they can send their faulty PS4 in for service under warranty.

They have not sent me any confirmation that they have received it.
