Thanks again all buyer has now confimred they have received the tickets. No idea why it took so long but relieved anyway

Definitely sounds like they tried it on . Did you guve them the tracking so they could see no signature was given?

Far more likely it was just dropped with a neighbour and no signature was obtained, and the buyer has then got the tickets. There's no indication of how they turned up, and the buyer was probably worried. If they were trying it on then they wouldn't have said that they had finally arrived. Too many people on this forum see eBay and automatically assume scam.
