Hey guys...
Bought a bluray player on Ebay yesterday... It said it would be delivered same or next day by 24 hour interlink courier.. it was even said on the listing itself...

I asked for tracking details today by email as it said on the ebay page it was posted.

I then got a reply saying that it had been delivered by unrecorded royal mail standard parcels...

Do I have a case to demand a postage refund?

Thanks

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be entitled to a postage refund as you didn't get what you actually paid for.

So you are encouraging blatant dishonesty should the parcel actually arrive..

no im encouraging the op to rely on the tracking information he paid for to determine wether the package actually arrived or not

Should be able to claim at least the postage charges back, why should the op have to wait up to 3 or 4 weeks to file a claim for an undelivered item if it never comes, when he paid for a premium service.

- i'm not excusing making a claim with paypal saying the item wasn't received but there is no guarantee that he will receive the item, or that if he is out the item gets left with an unscrupulous neighbour, thing's like this do happen and some people prefer havinv the peace of mind that they don't have to worry about receiving something they have paid for, why should the op be punished for the seller not honouring his end of the sales agreement?
