No wonder we are stuffed into paying sky-high insurance costs for absolutely everything if this is the sort of thing that goes on.

If it doesn't turn up then start a claim, if it does turn up start a claim for the postage.

The joys of ebay fees... Postage fees aren't subject to ebay's final value fees, so the more you can push through there, the better.

I'd definitely kick up a fuss about it.

They do frown on that method of making money too so a claim should be successful as well as probably the seller getting a black mark.

The reason im very on edge about whether to claim or not is that I only paid a tenner for the postage.. Although the bluray player only cost £30... But surely the cost is irrelivant?

Indeed; is it worth £10 of your time to kick up a stink and persue this small amount of money? This is time you could be spending drinking beer, amongst other things.

You can get a 24 hour parcel up to 10kg delivered for about £6 on Parcels Please (via DHL amoungst others) so £10 isn't an unrealistic price for the service you were promised.
