ebay problem - quick question - item not as described

Which part of "nine DVD boxset" are you having trouble with? lol... and no **** he only mentions 4 films, it's a quadrilogy...

well, i got an email back from paypal and yes, a fee of £15 will be taken off if i win the claim (which is only £17.10) so pretty pointless, as i assume i will still have to send the dvd's back to the seller anyway.

i've cancelled the claim and left him negative feedback - scumbag.

Aghhh you should have a waited a bit (2 days) before leaving negative... he might have decided to give a refund due to well worded email from a zero bidders account (cough) . Now his hackles will be up and he'll likely neg you back...

damn, oh well - i expected him to leave me neg feedback back - he sounds like that sort of person, but i couldn't let him (or her) get away with it.
Unfortunately the single dvd's are not going for much on ebay so i will take a hit.

Well just give it a few days before relisting in case he mysteriously decides to give you a refund...

In future try to only buy items from sellers who have PayPal Buyer Protection listed on their auction. Then it is much easier to get your money back if something goes wrong. Also I would never buy anything off ebay without a proper photo of the item, otherwise the chances are you'll get pirate copies, regardless of what the description might say. Caveat emptor basically.

i am usually pretty careful when it comes to ebay - i took my eye off the ball on this one - i won't be making that mistake again.

Ebay is perfectly fine, just certain goods are very open to scams, DVDs and CDs in particular.

i've found out how to follow up on feedback and left another comment.

if anybody wants the 4 alien films on single dvd i will be listing them on ebay in the next few days

- i'm sure they will go for very little (thanks crazy_dazy07 you scumbag)

Don't re-list them yet mate, I have a funny feeling he may be offering you a refund very shortly... and I don't think you have to worry about him negging you either. I can be a barsteward when I want to be.
