EBay Scam - not seen this one before

Did you notice the size of the package on the doorbell camera? Was it what you would have expected?

Looked about the right size (it was an Apple Watch) and it was in a brand new big Jiffy bag (I.e. hadn’t been used before). Other than that difficult to tell.

Everyone is different but I wouldn’t bat an eyelid spending that amount again on eBay. Just a reminder that other than time (updating this thread has been the most time consuming :D) I haven’t lost anything.

It was more as an FYI as it’s not something I had seen mentioned before and I could see how people could fall for it
 
It's odd that when eBay started, when it was just ebay.com with a global audience, it really was a bargain hunter paradise. I bought a UK spec Sony flatscreen TV, c£7K in John Lewis for ~£2K. Direct from Austria (where they were made). Came by Air only has to wait 3 days and delivered to my work place by a dedicated courier. I was a little worrying but as I had tracking info I was happy. It's far more an Ali Barba and the 40 thieves cave these days.
