ECP promo codes???

I cant open your link but here is an example:

See the exact same part (same brand) can be found on GSF for £80, autodoc have it for £34.

Makes you wonder if the price you pay corresponds to the quality of the part or if they are just trying their luck?

Then it also makes you wonder if just getting one from ebay for £25 will really be any different in quality?

Gone with this one:

Did some research and supposed to be a decent enough brand at £30.

I ordered that, some more penetrating fluid, replacement pinch bolts and a set of male& female torx sockets as I've noticed one of the bolts has been replaced with one with a male torx head at some point, probably with an impact gun.

The whole lot was £60.

Speaking of impact gun, I got a 240v corded one of those as well to treat myself, also given those bolts look pretty rusted on, that was £55, so total cost £115, garage would have charged more plus I'm gaining tools.

I need to find something cordless which is decent enough for occasional use at a reasonable price - the reviews on the cheaper ones don't inspire confidence and I wouldn't use it enough to make it worth spending too much.

I've got a corded one but it is a hefty thing and actually kind of a bit too powerful.

Yea I thought about a cordless one, but unless you can find one with some generic batteries, with any of these things I find after 3-4 years the batteries die and then end up costing a fortune.

Don't you have to get impact sockets too, if you have a gun -
I'd have to get confidence that shock from the gun is likely to get a rusted bolt off easier, and less likely to sheer connectors.

All done.

The suspension arm was a right ****, it was pretty difficult to get it off and out, to be honest it took some wiggling to get the new one in.

I'm glad a had a lot of tools, pry bar, hammer etc all got used and a lot of elbow grease, it wasn't easy.

I took the disc off because it made access easier, and noticed the pads were pretty low so as I was half way there anyway ended up doing the brakes as well.

Happier with the amount of grease????

I wouldn't recommend it but I have used normal sockets on my impact in a pinch, while closing my eyes and hoping :D
I've been using my Halfords advance 200 set sockets on my impact for 8-9 years now, nothing happened yet, dumb luck?

20% off with 'MOT20' on C4P BTW. I picked up some gloves and brake cleaner (you can never have enough brake cleaner). Also a tip, ignore the BS collection estimates, order is usually ready within 30-45 min to collect at my local ECP store.

doesn't look the right colour/pantone to be copper grease - don't remember what brand my, for life, tube is, but it's more like this

All parts were good and as ordered, apart from one thing.

I ordered some posh Castrol branded brake fluid and I got some Bosch branded one instead, so I'm sure it's still decent stuff, they refunded me the difference as well, couple of quid of whatever.

Did take about a week for everything to turn up.

All sorted this morning.

Check yourself before you brake yourself!

Where did you end up getting the parts from?

so hadn't realised that autodoc has several aliases - bit like ecp/cpfl

https://www.euspares.co.uk
https://www.bestpartstore.co.uk/company
https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk (probably same company as checkout is identical)

plus they sell stuff on ebay in the eu (free delivery) but won't deliver to UK - I would trust ebay for resolving problems more than autodoc direct.

looking for a air mass rubber tube/bellows and breather, Unfortunately seem to be only company selling what I'm after.
