So our prom is on friday, been relaxing blissfully and all up until now. A (relatively) close freind had offered me a place in the limo so I agreed and he said he'd sort it. We all paid our share (£55 - recieved an earful from my dad about it, but there didn't seem to be any alternatives) and that was that.

Now my freind just messaged me saying he can't get in touch with the limo company and that "we might not have a limo"

The site is http://www.hummerhummer.co.uk/ if anyone wants to look / knows anything. I think I may burst a blood vessel right about now. -_-'

oh come on being 16 and looking forward to a fun limo, then being let down, id be gutted too. thats my 2 penneths worth. do you know anyone, uncle, dads work mate with a posh car??

Lol why would you pay £55 for a limo!? What's wrong with a train? (that's how I got to the Christmas Ball, but I suppose I didn't have a girl in tow)... Or just an ordinary taxi?

So will you be getting your £55 back? Because if it was £55 down the drain, I would be quite annoyed, even if it was for a silly use.

edit: Also, £55? really? £55? £55? £55? for a limo? £55? really? £55? money well spent? really? £55? worth it?

I'd love to start a limo company for formals and stuff for kids.

I'd get a Ford Transit and deck it out with LCDs and a chocolate fountain.

I'd call the company 'Get in the Van'.

You'd be the toast of the town.
