Edge of Tomorrow

Saw it yesterday and thought it was great, unlike most I thought they could have spent some more time on the repeats of the day and variations of the day.
8.5/10 :)

Has anyone made an estimate of how many times he "loops" the day ? :O I guess a directors cut or extended release could possibly show more funny ones.

I thought it was okay, trying to ignore all the plot holes which are basically inevitable with time travel. Might have done with a bit of sci-fi waffle just to sell how the time travel thing worked though...

Main criticism would be the (usual) focus on exposition and the emotional aspect/character development felt like they shoe-horned it into one or two scenes (like the barn one) and then as it was seemingly ticked-off, they went back to exposition again.

Finally got round to seeing this, waiting for the daughter to finish exams and what-not, unfortuanately it had been relegated to the smallest screen in the cinema but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't normally watch the 3D versions but in this case I didn't have any choice but it was OK, unlike the headache-inducing Transformers trailer which had too much going on.
