I personally cannot stand 5.1. I would rather have 2.0 so for me its a no brainer as I find 5.1 gimmicky unless in a headset however thats my opinion and not a fact :)
 
Its actually not the 5.1 I'm worried about more if im going to miss not having a sub tickling my toes lol
 
The bass isn't the strongest point of these - I'd call it balanced so if you like thumping bass they probably aren't for you - and does take about 50-100 hours of use before it starts to really have presence. As I've mentioned before as well they like a bit of space behind the rear ports with less than about 5 inches or so they can sound a bit constrained. Love mine tho would definitely buy again.
 
Just ordered a set after debating with myself for the past couple of days. Please OCuk send them with a UK plug as i don't have a 3pin adapter plug to spare.

Can anyone tell me whether i'll notice a difference coming from a pair of Creative T10's? They themselves are good speakers but i was looking for something a little meatier and the bezel on the front is covered in marks from my sweaty hands; damn you glossy black!
 
Just turned up on the door, mine came with English plug. Build quality is very high imo and look/feel is bargain for the price of them.
 
Up and running for 30 minutes, liking them so far. Bass does a good job, need to tweak more but a worth while purchase.
