Random bump of this since its a short time away. I'm still on for covering the playoffs but things are going down to the last game of the season next weekend so cant give an answer for sure until then.

Is everyone else remembering about this

If you can slip the ref a fiver to fix the match so that you can come, you can borrow my real tilt and shift for this month's competition...

but I want my team to be in the play offs! Like i said though, I'll find out on Saturday if i can make it next weekend. Would like to do both though.

I need to double check that all my flights are still ok, otherwise it's all good. Wanted to get myself a travel guide to Edinburgh in the meantime but I figure just a map will do.

Still waiting on my D90 to be back from retailer who sent it to be repaired/aclibrated; been over 4 weeks now. Starting to get annoyed but should have a D40 as backup, although not ideal.

Sadly I won't be able to make this. Brechin won today so its the play offs for us on Wednesday and Saturday. Hope you all get some good photos and look forward to seeing them

WOndering if I should hire the Nikon 12-24 f/4 for the weekend...£40 but it would be a luxury atm as money is tight...hmmm.

Or will anyone be bringing a spare uwa?

Random question and really relevant as I'm not going...........but.....................have you any ideas of what you'll be photographing yet? I've not seen any sort of gameplan like the london meet

Good point. For a start I don't think Friday night will amount to much by the time we arrive and settle in.

Anyone from the list a local who could suggest a few places or a route; would help the others reading up, checking out what's around beforehand.

Laiman and I are still on for turning up first thing Saturday morning, but I am struggling to find somewhere I can park the car for the whole day - The on street metered parking has a max stay of approx 3-4hrs.

^Maybe Andrew knows if the place has parking permits for guests/tenants and you could park (free) at the apartment?

just checked on the apartment website and it just says on street metered parking. From memory i think its only during certain times so you can probably park during the evening but need to get it shifted for the next day. Will have a look around to see if there;s anything better close by

I saw what the apartment site said and threw them an email earlier today just for further clarification outside the apartment in the courtyard, just waiting for a reply.

Parking website keeps throwing up errors on the page and won't let me search for an area or view metered streets, will wait and see what the letting agent says.

Argh, tripod won't fit in travel bag; gonna need a small suitcase to put it in as I don't fancy paying to check 2 separate items.
