Oh I'd love to come as I love Edinburgh (could pop and see my sis there too), but I'll probably still be in Cuba then (not that I'm upset by that

) or at least only just got back. I think this year my "meet" antendance may be lower than normal

hmm, its spring 2006 the laws come into force here, not sure of the exact date.

edit- according to some news articles it will be march. but again, not sure of the exact date

edit 2 - after further googling it turns out it is set for the 26th of march

Quite a lot of pubs are bringing it into play before that date of their own choice though, to ease people into getting used to it rather than everyone on that date suddenly being turfed out of the pub.

Right - I have managed to get the time off from work and make sure that my son will not be stopping with me on the weekend.

Need to book train and lodgings now.
Anybody know if the place Feek suggested is booked up or is there similar places nearby?

The Piries was pretty much booked up when I called in October to book Feeks and my room - the singles we aready gone and they didn't have many doubles left.

Given how work is at the moment, I can't guarantee attendance at any meets this year - I'm already missing the Liverpool meet this month

I will be at as many as work allows but will probably not be able to give much notice.
If I can make this one, I will make arrangements nearer the time
