The only current Radio 1 DJ that I listen to is Pete Tong, and the only previous ones I miss are Mark & Lard.

The rest have all earned their way in to the space ship of doom... especially Chris Moyles, I'd forgotten about him until now.

Moyles has really gone downhill, I think the early starts have cooked his brain. That said, it's not specifically Moyles - his entourage are just as bad as him with their dim comments and shameless self-plugs for their other projects and earners.

However going slightly back O/T (heaven forbid), his cheesy jingles get me moving in the morning. Albeit out of sheer anger, leaping out of bed and smacking the bejesus out of the alarm clock. It's effective Moyles, I'll give you that.

edit - Radio 2, Wogan. Hero. Everytime I hear his voice I think of his sterling drunken efforts at the Eurovision earlier this year. Best night's telly I've seen in a long time - worth the licence fee on it's own!

Hate Edith's shows, she's massively over rated as a DJ... Colin and Edith were decent together... but without Colin... well... Edith is just plain annoying :-/

Scott Mills, Zane Lowe and at times Chris Moyles are the only decent things on Radio one.

He ran out of ideas long ago in my opinion. I used to love listening to him when he first hit Radio 1, but now he just rambles on for 10 minutes between songs as his 'posse' of fawning sycophants sing his praises and try to interject with funny remarks.

Scott Mills is still pretty fresh though - he manages to be sarcastically funny without actually being nasty to anyone.

And anyone who thinks Radio 1 has poor DJs really has to listen to local radio to hear how bad, bad, bad they are in comparison.

Moyles gets about 10 mins of my morning until the news is done then its back to my ipod. wasn't there a study done that his is the worst show for actual music. since he only actually plays like 3/4 songs an hour. in my 1/2an hour trip to work can't say as i hear more than about 1 or 2 songs and thats only cause hes gone out for a smoke.

Edith mentioned something about her first DJ'ing job and they told her to change her accent. Too right they were to tell her this, I can't stand that accent I have to switch stations.
