Who the hell listens to Radio 1 for the music?! :confused:

I'll be honest; i never thought the Radio 1 DJs earned that much. But then again the source is the Sun so i'll take it with a pinch of salt.
 
I love edith. She's definately one of my 5. I preferred it when she was with Colin but I dont think she's any worse than the rest of radio ones line up.

I still prefer Evans in his prime on virgin to any of the radio one stuff.

Plus Edith is always rumoured to be batting for the other side, strongly linked with Cat Deeley. Who could say no to that ;)

Yeah, great isn't it? I'd rather listen to banter than the crap on the R1 playlist. I don't want to listen to the music.

Yer best bet is to e-mail... or, you can "listen again" on the website, and tell us where abouts the music is used (eg 15:16 into the show)...

I find Edith annoying, she's almost as bad as Jo Whiley. Mary Ann Hobbs is good tho. :cool:

I said in the fifth post in this thread that it sounded like Calvin Harris if it was the bit I thought it might be. Have a look on last.fm and play all the previews to see if it's any of them.

I'm really shocked that people didn't know Scott Mills was gay :confused:

I honestly don't know how you could have missed it. Almost every show, he does his little joke about "maybe thats not why i'm successfull with the ladies" While his sycophant bint laughs in the background.
 
Edith Bowman, sheesh. Saw her in Tut's in Glasgow trying to flirt with the guy from Snow Patrol. A few months later that didn't work out and so moved on to the guy from Editors.

TBH I wish Editors, Bowman and Snow Patrol would all disappear, they can take the view with them if they want, optional extra.
 
Sara Cox is the single most irritating person on the Radio.

I know shes Northern, but for christs sake she tries so hard to perpetuate that image, and its not 'there were well tasty blokes' its 'there was a handsome chap'

Edith Bowman is a total moose, you could tell her you had ruptured your haemorrhoids when, as a chimney sweep your colleague shoved the broom with gusto up your swollen backside, and she would still chat to you as one of her best mates saying about how some amazing it is, and how some of the best moments in her life involved bursting her satans grapes when she used to dabble in child labour, and reminisce about how shes misses it and dearly wished she could be doing it at that exact moment.

Shes such a moose I cant stand her, Jo wiley is very similar, Miss Bandwagon, perpetuating the same disgustingly samey indie tripe on us, whilst regurgitating what 'cool' people tell her, and dispensing it as her own words of wisdom.

Oh yes, you're right.... but this is more fun that the original topic :DCan you listen to it again online and use that Shazam thing on your mobile phone to identify the track? Think the number is 2580.
