EE - Ran out of data allowance.

They put me on 10GB for £47.99 and it's not a new contract, I made sure that he stated that as it's up in 6 months any way.

Good its not a new contract, and 6 months time you can get a new iPhone I guess and hopefully 20gb.

This is why I stick to Three with unlimited data, £15 a month, 3GB must really be bad.

I used to be on Three but the coverage is just bad for some people. For me in London I had almost no signal anytime I was in door, be it work, home, or out and about around the city. It becomes difficult to even use my phone at times, unlimited data is lovely but it useless if you don't have signal.

I was on a similar tariff with the S4.

Called up to add my iPad to the tariff (an extra £5 a month) and as part of that they increased the data from 3Gb to 10Gb (including Double Speed), that might work for you if you have need of it?

I struggle to use my 5Gb allowance - I seldom even hit 1Gb!! :o

But I only pay around £20 thanks to a friends and family scheme on EE :)

Depends how you use your phone, I download around 1GB of news a month, few GBs on Netflix, Spotify and so on. It starts to add up quickly. When I was on three and had a good day I would even torrent things.

I just generally have WiFi where I go. And when I don't I'm socialising and seldom spend any time on my phone.

As you say I probably am a light user. It's nice to have the data available though and 4g.

Are you tethering? I don't understand how someone can hit 55GB in a month.

I stream music every day and I'm close to 5GB!

Netflix and yes. Hotels for work, and some shifts where I get to do nothing but sit waiting for phone calls.
No p2p or downloading such files.
Netflix, youtube, Xbox movies etc.
