That looks really nice, I have given myself a target to move out in 2 years time, looking at how much I can save/borrow and what it can get me I can only dream of a place like that in my area!

Congratulations on your purchase and getting on the housing ladder Natwee - your house looks lovely with a huge garden

All the things you're listing above - bathroom, tiles etc are all cosmetic and it'll take time for you to put your own stamp on the place. We've been in our house 7 years now and it's still a work in progress.

My parents have been in our house 25 years and they still say its "nearly finished"...been saying it for at least the last 10 years though!
