I think we'll put out the strongest possible side, Mourinho will be keen to get a win against Pep given what a fuss everyone makes over them. Even if it is in a second rate competition.
 
be a good indication of how much jose wants to get onside with the united fans, he should be looking to field a strong team to win this
 
It'll probably be close to the side most Utd fans think is their first choice side, minus Rooney of course. Shaw, Miki, Martial etc will play.

It's getting to the point where I actually forget we're playing now.

No Mkhitaryan, Smalling or Fosu-Mensah on the bench. Who does he expect to bring on at centre back when Rojo gets sent off for being Marcus Rojo?

There aren't any players in the starting line up that are currently better than Mkhitaryan, let alone on the bench.

Any central attack on the centre of that back four and it will collapse like a pack of cards

Young has been used more often by Mourinho as a defender than as a winger, but still a reasonable point.

This is exactly the kind of game FM should be starting as a CB (given Bailly's injury and how ropey Rojo is) - **** nuts

There has to be something else going on behind the scenes with Mkhitaryan, you don't buy the Bundesliga player of the season and not even have him on the bench when fit.

I think it was the MEN recently that was hinting that he may not have been a JM transfer, but I find that hard to believe given that Bailly arrived first (and therefore JM had time to veto it .....unless this was what got Ibra / Pogba ball rolling via the same agent, but this seems a little extreme)

Given the above, MEN could have it completely wrong of course lol

Only reason I can think Rojo is playing is because of how poor Smalling was against Chelsea.

It's the omission of Martial which is also shocking. He was supposedly good vs Fenerbahce.

Good offensive line-up for United but that defence (aside from Shaw) is a mess.

Got a bad feeling about tonight...although Schneidy makes it onto the bench! He's really going places now!

I think Rashford should be rested and Smalling is injured?

I reckon Jose has fallen out with Martial after the T-shirt number fiasco so he's on his way out, which is criminal.
