WTF was that from Herrera? About as blatant as you can get, might as well have picked him up and tombstoned him in to the ground.

Something very strange in that Herrera completely dived rather than even attempt to score. I do wonder if he got the call and decided to take the defender out to leave the ball for Mata, which makes more sense. In either case he threw himself at the player then threw himself down, could easily have stopped play to give Herrera a yellow card, lucky the ref didn't.

City aren't getting anything from this ref. Should have had a pen in the first half, had a player booked for slipping over, Valencia could have easily been sent off, Utd's goal shouldn't have stood and now that challenge by Shaw on Navas - the clearest free-kick you'll ever see.
