yeah.. when the egg pops out, mamma hen's haemorrhoids print the expiry date.
Seriously though, the majority of things have a best by and a use by.. the problem is that I think the majority of them are legal get out of free cards for the supermarket. It's amazing how supermarket veggies hold their shape - almost like they're packed full of pollyfilla preservative.
