No. You don't do it like that

Poached eggs go on toast, fried eggs can be cooked in the bread for added win.

I like poached eggs, but wouldn't ever try and poach then fry one or attempt key hole surgery with it.

French toast doesnt contain egg though does it :confused:

French toast is just bread that's been fried in oil?

I've been reading up on French toast

Appears to be either a sweet dish (with sugar or milk) or a savoury dish (such as just the egg or a bit of salt)

Eggy bread and French toast appear to be the same thing

oh well, you live and you learn.

Fried bread will always be fried bread.

Then I have been robbed in the past, I have had French toast and it didn't taste anything like Egg :confused:

Eggy bread however was a full on egg fest as soon as it entered my mouth

I call it bread dipped in egg

I dip one side and leave the other side as normal so it crisps in the butter. Omg, this is making me hungry...
