Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubaruk to all the Muslims celebrating it and also all the non-muslims who are also celebrating it, my prayers are all with you and may you and your family have a nice day, inshallah.

Aaaahhhhhhhh

Yule then.

Anyway, I have an idea... Islam isn't too popular so lets have a celebration that EVERYONE can take part in this year. Lets call it Christmas, and it can be celebrated with the music of Noddy Holden.
Good god. You were almost sounding sane until you mentioned Noddy.

Eid Mubarak,

I'm no Christian or Pagan and far from brainwashed but if somone was taking the P out of me celebrating on Christmas Day I wouldn't be too pleased, come on show some respect please.

It would be hypocritical of anyone to encourage celebration of something they disagree with or believe is false. I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Flying Spaghetti Monster and I can guaruntee you that I will insist on 'keeping it real' on those topics as well.

A main complaint here seems to be that criticisms are untrue or motivated by bias, although if this were true I am sure that all critics would have changed their minds due to the decency of Muslims who set out to dispel these untruths, instead what we find is many complaining that critics should not be allowed to speak.

I believe this is because they also know that criticism of Islam are valid, yet they are so entrenched in the 'complete way of life' that is Islam to want to face up to the complicated realities of addressing the problems that it causes. This is exactly how we, as Christians, have operated for decades and it is the same mentality that has lead to witch burnings, crusades and all other manners of cruelty that are supposedly vital for our religion, our people and our God.

The complaint here is that you are making unwelcome comments. If you want to start a thread to criticise Islam, by all means go and do so. Your comments are about as welcome here as me going to a church on Christmas Eve and being a sarky ******* to church-goers. So kindly take you theorising to another thread, where I am sure you will find many willing accomplices.

Kol sana wenta tayeb, as my Egyptian workmates would say.

I've been enjoying myself stuffing my face with lovely deep fried pancakey things, absolutely soaked in sugar syrup - I'm going to be 20 stone by the time I get off the rig :o

Everybody knows about your right to free speech CBS, that doesn't mean you have to exercise it every 5 minutes. Even Ian Paisley takes a break from denouncing Catholocism now and again. Why not just give it a rest for once?

"We as Christians"? You're a pagan by your own proclamation, for goodness' sake. Are you copypaste trolling or something?
