Hey,
I have a Sony VAIO laptop which I'm looking to install Fedora Core on (Just to try it). I don't want to reformat so I deleted some stuff so I could shrink the partition.
When I went to do it though, Vista tells me there is also a 9GB "EISA Configuration" partition sitting there. What on earth is this?
9GB is a large amount of space to be sitting there doing nothing...is it safe to reformat to claim the space back? I've never heard of an EISA Configuration before.
Cheers.
EDIT: On closer inspection, Vista says it's 100% free. ie, nothing in it. What the heck? How can I go about reformatting this in Vista? Disk Management wont let me touch it.
