EK Supreme hf AM4 bracket ?

Hi can anyone confirm for me that the Mounting plate for the EK Supremacy AM4 bracket will fit the v2 square EK Supreme hf?

Saw this in a old thread and mine is the square top cooler in the pic I was thinking of getting one of the new AMD CPU's but if I need to buy a new block I may as well go Intel as I wouldn't be saving anything.

You can for the square Supreme HF as it's compatible with the Supremacy brackets, but I don't think you can for the original Supreme though as it was a different shape IIRC?

You can't actually tell just by looking at the blocks as it turned out there was some crossover.

Basically if your current brackets have a centre like this:

Then the block will not be compatible with the new brackets.

If they have a centre like the one you linked then they will.

Thanks for the reply and I can tell that mine is like the pic you posted balls might just a get the 9900k or I could just go on air but then how would a live with myself

I take it the picture you posted was a bracket that is no longer made/sold but I found this somewhere.

That's the AM2/AM3/FMx bracket, sadly it doesn't fit AM4

Damn that sucks I ordered that plate too might have a cheeky go at moding it to fit so if anyone wants a crushed 3700x keep your eyes on ebay.
