When the 30 series blocks were released I was already on the fence with EK as their standards had been slipping (nickel flaking anyone) but the QC issues and massive price for that gen is what nailed it for me. I've got some EK fittings, but most of my kit is Optimus and Koolance now.
When they started wanting £300-400 for a gpu block, that was probably the last time i bought an ek gpu block from them. The Heatkiller gpu block im using far outperforms both performance and aesthetics imo and costs have the money. It's bonkers and probably trying it on after seeing what people would pay for a gpu during the dry season.
