Elder Scrolls MMO

Three faction PvP has me interested for certain, I really hope they stick to the key ingredients of the Elder Scrolls series, non-linear freeform gameplay, large open worlds, action based combat and skill based leveling.

With Bethesda record, i would bet it will be full of bugs that take forever to fix, im currently playing SWTOR which is full of bugs with slow support in fixing things, but i think Bethesda would be worse with an MMORPG

:( The joy of Elder Scrolls is the single player driven story telling and free roam doing what the hell you like, I am greatly skeptical and worried that Elder Scrolls games won't be the same after. I'm not writing it off but these are my thoughts as it goes to press!

What's to say they can't bring that to the MMO world though?

To quote:
The game's director is Matt Firor. "It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years," he says. "The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise." The game's July cover reveal will detail a variety of the game's possibilities: soloing, public questing, and a unique new take on player-vs-player, in which the three factions battle over sections of land or a desired position of power.

So that's the bloke from Dark Age of Camelot, and the unique new selling point is how DAoC was set up ;)

Not that I care, 3 faction makes things far far better for open area pvp. And it certainly needs to be used more.

Its strange seeing longtime makers of successful solo RPG's like BioWare and now Bethesda turn to multiplayer.

So dont care about an Elderscrolls MMO.

Well it was certain to happen eventually, no matter what they've said previously. I'll wait and see before making a judgement.

But I can say I am a huge kotor fan, yet haven't bought swtor, so that could be similar here.

I still think there'll be a TES:VI as a singleplayer game, as these will be in two completely different time periods.

So if its gonna be the best MMO ever, they should maybe charge more for it than WoW.

IMO $29.99 / £19.99 per month is a fair price for the best game ever.

Its worth it for how good the best MMO ever is bound to be, and no one will complain because its so good.

And it will get 50 million active subscriptions.
