Elder Scrolls Online

Cheapest place to pick this up? And is it worth having a crack?

I would say no but i just didnt like it at all! It came up dirt cheap on pc and i thought i would give it a go but it just felt like the world was really bland and boring compared to other mmos, plus it didnt really feel like an mmo, there were other players about but it didnt feel like we needed to play together or anything, dunno just want for me!

Plus the last post before yours was mid august! Doesnt bode well imo, but im sure loads still play

PC loads quicker, but I enjoy the PS4 version as I can just relax in bed and play the game and I have more friends on PS4 that play it.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but there's not really that much of a difference imo.

Just bought this today for myself and a mate, £15 on Amazon Prime Now, should be here shortly. Looking for a decent MMO on ps4 and if this sucks I'll look at FFXIV.

It's a bit pants as a social mmo, however it is a really good elder scrolls game and has a shed load of solo content with other people interacting in it (just not on a wow scale) so it doesn't feel completely forever alone.

I have a few questions.

What are the modes of travel? Walking only?
How hard is it to meet up with friends?
If my friends and I are different levels, can we still do the same stuff, or do we have to be similar levels?

Have any of you played this on PS4 and PC? Which is better or are they much of a muchness?

I got it for £15 new from Game in the end. First time I've bought a new game in yonks and first time I've bought a new game from Game in yonks of yonks!

Edit- 24GB update means I won't be playing for quite a while :(

Boring boring boring. Spent two hours on this last night, got out of the prison, saved the dude, got into the town, read lots of bookshelves, killed the odd bad guy, did a few quests and picked up loads, joined the guilds, and it's just.... dull. As a former WoW addict I was expecting a bit more vibrance and colour, but these guys really do seem to have picked the most dull palette out there. Combat seems decent enough, but dull. Dialogue is dreary, the whole setting is just meh.

I'll give it a few more hours but I'm not hopeful.

That said, I've never been a fan of elder scrolls games so it may just be me.

Not sure if this interests anyone, watched this yesterday but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it...

Back to Morrowind!

I played ESO for about an hour and haven't touched it since. Do people still play it?
