Electric Toothbrush

i got the oral B one with the wireless LCD display to stick to the wall, it monitors your brushing, its pretty much a gimmick but at least i get a full 2 minute brush, plus my teeth have never felt cleaner

How are you guys finding life with your electric toothbrushes and how much did you pay. I paid 50 pounds for mine :)

The guy at the checkout looked at me and said with a smug grin. "This is 50 POUNDS" ....so I said "Yehhhh". He soon took his smug grin away.

Like I couldn't afford a 50 pound toothbrush and took this big boxed toothbrush in mistake of a normal peasants toothbrush.

Mine cost me nothing, mum chucked a bunch of them in with her shopping, and I liberated one.

Its only one of those £5 jobbys, that holds an AAA battery, and all it does it vibrate the handle. I doubt it improves the cleanliness of my teeth, but it does leave my hand satisfyingly tingly when I'm done brushing.

Get out of my thread you peasant. My toothbrush is not a Mach 3 Fusion. It has a twirly end to it, like a windmill.

Mine was about £15, what does a £50 one do that a £15-20 can't?

Maybe he thought you were crazy spending that much when one for £20 will do the same thing?

I'm not too sure I'd want to try and brush my teeth with a Mach 3....

I did consider getting a more expensive version. but then I looked at the notes in my hand and toddled off to buy something slightly more fun.

I paid £15 for my oral b and I think it does make a lot of difference, teeth feel a lot cleaner than with a manual tooothbrush!

All these people with electric toothbrushes, who out of you lot has fillings?

Never needed an electric one, I'm capable of brushing my teeth.

Had a brilliant one about 10 years ago, that died after about 5 years so mum got me a new one.

For some silly reason they decided the handle should have a rubber grip.... that obsorbs toothpaste :(

I moved back to manual after that

Well its not all about necessity but i quite like using the electric one but wouldnt die without it..each to their own tbh
