Electric Toothbrush

Oh I have one of these, i just wouldn't go back to regualr brushing after trying my Oral B. It tickled at first but then became pleasurable. My breath smells great.

edit - no fillings

I bought an Oral B 8500 the other day as well. Electrics are great if not expensive for a glorified motor.

Thats the GTI model. I thought about that one but it was more money. It has the same RPM as the 8000 though :)

The 8500 has a slow mode I think but whats the point of that I thought.

I've got one of those £98 sonic badboys, woo
Ditto.

All these people with electric toothbrushes, who out of you lot has fillings?

Never needed an electric one, I'm capable of brushing my teeth.
Don't knock it until you try it. I'm fairly filling free but using the electric really gives you a fresh-from-the-dentist feeling every day. It also helps the gums, which are really important when you get old like me.

Like the dentist told me, you can't move your hand 10,000 times a minute. :D

had one for years, started off not liking it but now i couldnt go back to a normal toothbrush

just out of interest how many fillings do people have ?

Has anyone tried a dental irrigator?
Basically a power jet spray, thats supposed to have something of a floss action.
I am interested as I have a bridge and they are supposed to be good getting under/around it.

A normal toothbrush cleans my teeth just fine, why spend £50 - 80 for a vibrating toothbrush.

Have you ever tried an electric toothbrush? Don't knock it till you've tried it.

An electric toothbrush is like an overclocked manual toothbrush.... now we all know what we like doing here.... :D

Ye i have used one,and prefer a normal toothbrush, not a single thing wrong with my teeth,no filings or sore teeth anyway.

I have an Oral B 8500pro I got half price and another Oral B I got a few years back for about £20 and the 8500 is a lot better as it seems vibrate a lot faster and cleans better.

Must be a way to "overclock a tooth brush" lol

BTW Ive got 3 fillings and Im 33 years old

I got one for christmas and the difference between it and a standard tooth brush is insane.

dunno why it took me so long to get one!
