ElectriQ 34" 2K Quad HD Freesync Curved Gaming Monitor - £219.97

Hi Guys, I've just signed up to see if anyone can help me with this monitor.

I have this 35" 35CMUWQ100GAFSH version and it wont sleep when my PC goes to sleep, it's connected via the DP port, does anyone know what the issue could be?

Okay so what I can gather this is currently a rebadged Massdrop Vast, 1440p superwide, 100hz, adjustable stand, 2 m/s Response

Trying to decide between this and the 'EG Brand'. I can't figure out what the EG super wide monitor is a rebadged version of but it claims to have a faster response time. The drawback of that panel is you can't adjust the height.

I have edited your post.

Have OKUK looked into stocking the budget brands like Massdrop Vast, Viotech or Viewsonic? If not what are the drawbacks?

So I bit the bullet and bought one of these for £350. Initially I was having a problem where there was a flickering issue where a grid would pop in some games. Not all games but some. But I found switching off freesynch off on the monitor itself aswell as in games to solve the problem in case anyone else has the same issue. It's much more immesive and I manage to get 60-100fps on all titles with my Vega. The blacks and colours are really a massive upgrade from a TN panel also. No issues with backlight bleed or dead pixels that I can notice at least.

Highly recomended

Where do you find it at this price ? I'm interested in getting another one

Price has gone back up. They seem to yo yo the price and it's back up in price. Only 1 place sells it on their site and through the rainforest site. You could keep checking and I'm sure in the next few months it will drop again. Annoying I know. I bought it for £350 and about a week later it was £280

You could always contact them and ask if they'll match the prior price because you were going to buy one before the price rise. If you don't ask you don't get ;)

Thanks for the idea ;) I tried, but he could only offer a 1/2 discount on the next day delivery option.
Guess I'm gonna have to wait for the next price drop

Not sure how far the bump is allowed, but has anyone had success recently? I have a XB270HU and looking for a nice 3440x1440 at 100Hz plus.

Looking at this model

I just got the 27" 4k version of one these monitors, refurbished for £248, otherwise, nearly £300. I can't believe the image quality, 144hz (though is an issue with that) and 1ms response time, and IPA panel too!
