hey guys anyone on ema and have u been paid yours yet, im in my second week of college and no sign of it yet

EMA is a big taboo on here, a lot of people myself included think it is an utter waste of time and tax-payers money.
There is no fair way of giving out money to school kids, i wasn't paid to return to school because my parents earn too much but didn't lavish money on me whereas some who do get money handed out left right and center from their parents.
I'm not in the mood for a debate before anyone has a go.

If you want to know when it is coming phone them.

When i was at college it was usually about 3/4 each year that it didnt come for then i got £90 on the 4th week and £60 on the 5th week

i get ema, and my parents give me money if i want to go to a party or event etc, ahhh i live the life, also i have a big house with two cars and a nice pc rig

tbh, i don't care, it wasn't my choice to make the government give me it, but they are so i shall take it.

Ema is a complete waste of money, it's only used by 99% people for video games, booze, and drugs. Nothing school related at all.

Did you bother to read my post? Because a lot of people think it is a sham and a waste of money paying kids to stay in school, i know no one that stayed in school just because they were going to get money. They could earn a lot more money leaving and getting a job if they wanted to.

Yes I did, but that doesnt make it a forum taboo subject, it just makes it a bunch of people with strong opinions that some dont agree with.

my parents pay the same taxes that your parents/you (didn't bother to check your age) pay. And its a lame excuse really, if they didn't give it to family's with less income, then they would probably ship it to other EU country's along with the other millions in child benefits!

not true, all of mine is going straight into my account to gain interest then its going on uni fees
