Slack is ok for messaging, but its video calling features are absolutely terrible. I've had occasions where the call UI appears but doesn't make a sound, and calls often cut off or won't start correctly and we end up using teams instead - on the same PCs so it's not a connection/hardware issue.
The only benefit Slack video has over Teams is being able to annotate. I have no idea why MS haven't added that feature to Teams. People have been asking for it for *years*.
