Oh no! Only started driving last week, got a flat already. Trying to loosen wheel nuts but no go unfortunately. I do need to turn them anti-clockwise right?
Please help, it's raining to make matters worse :(

You need to give it some foot then, stand on that ****er :)

Well the car is lifting up off the ground and the nuts just aren't nudging. My back is well and truly into it :D

car is lifted off the ground???
Put car back on ground, into gear and try again.
If this fails find a hollow metal pipe and add more leverage, most likely the bolts have been over torqued by an air gun.

if that fails get some to hlafrauds and pick up a tire inflater/ foam thingy and go to your local garage.

Are you hulk?!

Use a breaker bar

Might need to get a breaker bar if I can't find this pipe in the father-in-law's garage.

Don't know that i'm the Hulk as such but the whole of the wheel was off the ground and the tyre sucked in air as I lifted it. It's only an old Clio mk2 so not the heaviest car anyway.

He's only driving a week, give him a break. First flat I got I used the little tool provided and wouldn't move, added a pipe on to get leverage and it ripped the tool in half :D

I got a telescopic socket from Halfords which I keep in the boot now - does a good job even when they've been over torqued.

Overclockers uk, for all your motoring needs, no job too small :)

I remember my friend standing with both feet on the lever and the nuts still not budging!

This is when having an AA membership becomes totally worth it.
