I noticed when they were on the lap before the restart that he dropped down one position on the leaderboard thing but nobody commented about it. This explains it.

It wasn’t so much he dropped down, it’s that he failed to take back the position (his team gave him wrong info) but the kicker was he didn’t drive through the pit lane under the SC.

That Merc isn't as quick as people think. It's Hamilton driving it to it's limits.

Just no. Bottas well ahead of Perez in drivers championship and I rate Perez as a better driver than Bottas

Clearly that's not the case. Hamilton is the best because he wins all the time, so that means that Bottas is currently the second best driver because he's finished runner up for the last two seasons, which was definitely, definitely nothing to do with the car he's in.
