Eminem New Single - We Made You

he is still better than most other rappers out there. His albums have always been great, funny and meaningful (sometimes!), he has my vote!

ha ha - you obviously aint listened to any decent rappers then - eminem is past it - he only had 1 decent album, the only reason why he has been such a big hit is because he was the first proper mainstream white rapper, like the great white hope, even his band D-12 were a flop with him trying his hardest to make them as succesful as him even though he was the main rapper. 50 cent has killed him in sales and although i dont like 50 cent that much either he keeps making hit after hit, unlike eminem who's only had about 3-4 decent songs. TI, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Akon, Busta Rhymes and Jay Z are the hottest on the market right now.

I loved the Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP, but since then he's gone downhill imo.
He does tend to release the comedy pop single first though, so i'll still hold out that the album could be interesting.

Marshall Mathers LP is one of my all time favourite albums, and I'm really not a rap fan. The lyrics are brilliant in the darker songs.

You go girl!

50 cent is much worse than eminem, busta rhymes and jay-z are quality i'll give you that. akon is s***, and never heard the others. I enjoy listening to D-12 and EMINEM! Maybe his style isn't your cup of tea but he isn't crap.

if you want eminems proper material you have to get the underground mixes, thats where its at, his last one had me in stitches all the way through it

well i think you can call them underground mixes

Dear god it is awful. I prefer Rap and hiphop to pop personally though.

the music is crap, the rapping is crap, the production is crap.

It is just rubbish, honestly if anyone who isn't a 12 year old likes this please seek help asap or listen to some proper music.

i cant believe how many people are saying they like this crap just because its eminem - same thing goes for britney spears - she is past it yet people still buy due to their name, theres 1 good song on relapse - underground the rest is just ****, its all high pitched, geeky comedy, he was at his best when he done proper rap, not this pop comedy stuff with a high pitched voice

Relapse is very very good IMO.

Managed to get a listen at a friends house.

Fave tracks for me are Bagpipes in Baghdad, Insane and Hello.

There's two strong themes in the album through the use of songs and skits.

One is rape by his father and the other is trapping and killing a girl he picked up on the road.

So, yeahhh, guess that ends the idea that this album wouldn't be dark. :p

There are quite a few light hearted tracks though.

It doesn't touch the Marshall Mathers LP but better than The Eminem Show.

Definately buying it on release.

Probably his darkest album yet, but definitely not his best. Better than The Eminem Show, but doesn't have as many stand out tracks as Encore (only listened once so far though). Themes involving, incest, rape, killing family members, drug addiction and his depression when Proof died.
