This album reminds me a lot of the SLim Shady LP.. but is way more crude and ott.

I still quite like some of the tracks that are on it.. they grow on ya.

I too prefer the more non shady style approach taken on, for example, Marshall Mathers.. and hopefully he will release some different material within the next year or two that reflects that persona.

To a degree I am a little dissapointed with the content as I was expecting a more adult sounding album.. with less crazy lyrics.. but seems like he has kinda went back to his roots on this and is trying to take the same approach that launched him.

I think the new album is a step in the right direction, hopefully his next will be even better. I like him and I think he needs to be around.

Quite like his new album..some songs really stand out for me ie Bagpipes from Baghdad is quite good...taking the mick out of Mariah Carey. Also like my mom...which he rips his mom to shreds about her drug taking and him becoming an addict...and hello is another fave tune of mine. Currently have it on my ipod and have been listening to it for the past few weeks...its a good comeback album for him and he still has it imho.

Now hoping that Dr Dre releases his new album soon-ish...thats one ive been waiting yrs for.
