Enabling 3rd HD - lil help please

Hi there.

I have an Abit IP35 Pro mobo. With 3x 500gb Samsung drives.


2x 500 in Raid 0 and the idea was just to have the 3rd Drive sitting on its own not in a raid to back up stuff in the raid.

However at the moment i cannot see the drive in Windows. (maybe its not formated :S) Do i have to enable the drive in Intel's Raid manager to format it or something. Im a lil clueless and scared if i do anything wrong it will mess up my existing Raid 0 and result in a full format and rebuild etc.

Right click on My computer, select Manage./Disc Management, you should see the new drive listed, simply right click on it and select the format.

if raid is enabled you will need to connect it to the jmicron controller depending on motherboard
