Energy Prices (Strictly NO referrals!)

Same no of bedrooms here but age, insulation etc plays a big part.

Last 30 days I've averaged 60kWh but yestday used 110 with the heating on all day. These are the most expensive days of the year.
Thanks for all the info. Very useful comparison.

For reference, I'm in a 4-bed detached, with a lot of the TRV's on very low (1-2) in some rooms that aren't being used with others on 3-4, so it's interesting to see what you guys are using. Electric I'm not too worried about as I have to use it as I work from home, but normally my PC heats the room well enough :D

Yes it’s basically pointless to compare without knowing these specs. For example, we’ve used 11kWh gas per day in Jan so far in a 2 bed well insulated flat but obviously that doesn’t scale to 22kWh for a 4 bed flat and is completely different to a detached house.

All correct, however my main concern has been my boiler, rather than my overall heat loss for example, as it's as old as the house which was build in 2005 and is probably due for replacement.

Tomato energy working out well the first week after switching from Agile.

Smart meter tracking estimates show I'm saving over a pound a day; Tidy.
I am switching over tomorrow on the 10th.

Its long term future doesnt look good, but I will take advantage of Ofgem's all in consumer protection and wide the lifestyle tariff wave.

ouch that is a lot!. I just checked and on the coldest day so far this winter we used 60kwh (3bed 1960s semi but with wall*** and new loft insulation)

***which has come with its own set of problems and not sure i would reccomend.

but its hard to compare directly as i live near Cambridge which is not really comparable to those who live say in Newcastle or Scotland.

Since the Octopus fixes are no exit fee and people generally use more energy in winter, in this market there is little benefit to being on tracker in winter.
