out of curiosity if the manufactures take action could they come for the wardrobe?

kinda a selling/receiving stolen goods thing

nope, not at all

wholesalers, manufacturers extending credit to retailers has nothing to do with the customers of that retailer

If it's a limited company and he's closed the old one and set up a new, there's nothing anyone can do.

nah, re-read the OP, he's already got the CCJ - which is against the owner as that is who he paid

the wardrobe was purchased from a ltd company that is now closed, the wardrobe has been delivered... tis irrelevant whether the company is closed anyway as that isn't the issue

the 950 storage fee is the issue here and the OP has paid that to the guy himself, he is an individual, he has assets... he can enforce the CCJ

I'm going to charge you £70 for every post of yours i've had to read. I'd like payment directly to my bank account please.

What's the saying... A fool and his money are easily parted?

As someone who spends huge amounts on cars and a house, why on earth are you asking us how best to legally punish someone because you made very poor decisions?

I never thought I would see the day where you'd start quoting Dolph! ;)

Definitely use a HCEO. I have used Sherforce and Burlington in the past and they're ok. If he has commercial premises in London you may well have a good chance.

You could also consider other enforcement options if that doesn't work. A statutory demand could work well as its over £750. You may also be able to get a charge secured over his property failing those options.

When you've been here a while, some Posters stand out among others and come across in a certain way, over the years here I've come to the conclusion I'd want Dr. House as my Doctor as much as I'd want helpimcrap as my plane's Pilot. :D:cool::p
