Pickers proposed to me on our lovely holiday to the Isles of Scilly... and I said yes So we're both now engaged to be married... somewhen in the next few years!

He was very romantic bless him! He decided to take me for a walk around to Peninnis (my favourite spot on the Isles of Scilly - has lots of big rocks in the middle of the grass and round the cliff edge) but kind of got lost enroute. So instead he found a big rock for us to plonk on overlooking the sea and then asked me the the big question I gawped like a goldfish for a few seconds until a couple walked past, saw the ring and said "oooh how romantic - is it a yes" and then I blubbed and said yes

Christ, I met my girlfriend on the Scillies, the day after her sister had been proposed to on Tresco We're off there in 3 weeks.

My parents met there - cause Daddy lived there, and Mummy used to have holidays there . Sis got engaged earlier this year and so last week was making arrangements for her wedding next year in Old Town Church too!!
