Engine Torque Damper Fitted

Few guys on the ATR forum have these fitted, they found the same thing as you: Less wheel hop but more vibration. One guy actually ended up removing it because the vibration really annoyed him.

TBH the extra vibration really isn't that bad, not in my experience anyway. It just makes things a touch more 'raw', but it's honestly hardly anything

do u have O.E engine mounts?

i found that fitting "solid" mounts into my car made a world of difference to the feel at the front end and although you do get a few more vibes coming through, raising my base idle to a solid 800rpm when warm fixes the issue...

Damn you, decided to try one of these to see how much it reduces wheel hop. So thats now clutch, flywheel, exhaust and now engine damper needing to be fitted.

I would have bought and fitted some Mugen engine mounts already if there was no added vibration in the cabin:(

but its like my car doesnt have the smoothest running engine anyway, its MAF not MAP controlled and its a 2.0 also, and its my daily driver i drive on the motorway like 30 miles a day to work and back inc town traffic work and its fine

surely u could put up with like x % more vibration for x % better cornering/acceleration etc
