I just got back from 2 weeks in France and it's not the same there, no flags of any description (there are all the usual promos in various shops like there are here for England though)

French are realists then, unlike here

The French absolutely hate their team at the moment, for various reasons.

There are loads of flags in Germany on cars, something I was pretty surprised about!

Yea but it's diesel and you will get mega mpg so 10k is cheap init

Just leave some bakes bean tins near your car if you're worried, they'll see it as 'dining out'.

Watched my neighbour gather all the flags from the house, the car and the lawn and deposit them in the wheelie bin at about 5pm today

Oh dear, just driven the few miles back from my GF's, must have seen 20 odd flags at the side of the road.....


Felt like picking one up & flying it for the cricket team though.....

Imo its a shame the crap footy team has overshadowed the flag being flown with pride elsewhere......
