England match not on terrestrial TV again?

It's not a choice to me, I can't afford to pay for Sky Sports full stop.

I just think that the only criteria that should need to be met if you want to watch your own country play footy on the telly is that you actually own a telly, i.e. it should be freely available to everyone, regardless of bank balance.

People can always afford it , its just a question of priorities and understandably Sky sports isn't high on that list for some people.

For example I chose not to have a car purely because of the expense , thats not to say you should give up your car for sky sports :p
 
Exactly, it's not always a case of afford it or not. I just can't bring myself to shell out that much every month on something I know I'll spend about 4 hrs each month watching.

The £27 p.m. Sky Sports would cost me is £324 per annum, just for a few channels, which just goes against my ethos. That £324 will go into my ISA or something instead.

That's the thing that really annoys me too, I could put up with it if I could watch decent extended highlights later on this evening but it appears that there is absolutely nothing on terrestrial at all, which is so annoying!!!

It's not about priority for everyone though is it, it's not always about 'ah I'll just go out one night less each month to pay for my Pay-Per-View footy', for a lot of families paying for PPV TV would mean less food on the table. Not a lot of choice involved there.
 
Stop moaning you lot. You're not missing anything anyway, it's an absolute bore fest at the moment. I'm fairly sure that it would have been announced in advance what games were on what channels, was the entire qualification campaign shown on terrestrial TV for the last Euro tournament?
