The squad he's picked is bizarre frankly. I dont know if Klopp and Southgate have had a chat but Trent is Englands best rb....If he plays as a back three as expected then not taking Trent is just baffling. Equally Dier being there and not Michael Keane is just lol

Yea I don't think his comments about form are great, then picks Trippier who has only played 4 times since January. I want to bad mouth Maguire being included but I'll probably be told off, I want him to be good, he just.....isn't.

tbf that started at the world cup insisting on playing Kane instead of Vardy even after Kane was clearly in need of a rest and Vardy + Sterling were ripe to tire out the creaking defenses. Everything since then has just continued the trajectory. He makes the right noises but doesn't follow through. I'd like to think that with a fit squad there'd be Maddison, Justin, etc heck I'd take Mee and Tarkowski ahead of Dier. I also don't know what Ward Prowse brings other than freekicks. Maddison is arguably better at that once fit and to me offers more goal threat. Lingard too ahead of WP. At least he didn't take Delle Alli just because...

As a Chelsea fan if Reece James is the best RB we have then we are in trouble, has huge potential but can be brain dead at times and not ready for international football.
