It really does make the mind boggle, even worse is that they've been told to delay joining up with the squad, they should be sent back to their clubs and told no thanks we may call you later in your careers if you prove yourselves.
 
Big test for Southgate, the players have no respect for him and he has no control over them.

Add the fact his comments about picking players based on form rather than reputation was a bare faced lie, things aren't looking too rosy for him.

Edit: They've now been dropped. At least Southgate has done something right.

Dropping them now is too late. I've said it before. If you are caught doing something outside your bubble putting the game at risk or frankly illegal like they have then its an instant 3 game ban. No ifs, no buts. No international duty, no training regardless of a test result.

Don't be cryarsing to the press like they all were a few months back then take the mickey now. Not buying it.
 
Southgate supposedly fuming as he laid down the law and then this happens. Is it really that hard to follow the guidelines?

It’s even more baffling considering what happened with Foden and Greenwood you’d think the entire squad would want to be squeaky clean.

Laid down the law yet was allowing them to join late?

The players involved are absolutely insane to put their chance if a Euro 2021 spot at risk. Sancho will be fine but Abraham not so much.

I don't think its disrespecting Southgate, it's disrespecting international football. They just don't really care and who can blame them. 2nd tier football compared to where they are with club football and it's just good for player value and PR. If they got paid a million a game they might care.

No idea, don’t think he started the last game.

we have lots of Attacking midfielders but no central/defensive

haven’t watched an England game in a long time but may see what they do, looks a decent lineup on paper.

I thought it is mainly due to the fact 5 players have been very naughty boys :p

I see Maguire is on the bench so he has been let out of the sin bin.

To be fair I haven't seen this much squad depth in a long long time.
 
What a dire 20 minutes we are far too deep... we desperately need someone who can play as a 10. If Ali hadn’t fallen off the radar it’d be him but god knows who else can do it.

Wales playing like the home side and look more dangerous.
