English, CL & Europa League Football [12th - 18th Mar 2010] **spoilers**

Decent performance and a good win. Thought Mascherano, Torres and Gerrard were all superb but Lucas put in a real classy performance tonight and was my MotM. Finally showed what he's capable of going forward so why he's been held back so much is beyond me. Babel failed hard yet again. Always gets in good positions but fluffs his lines more often than not.

Really decent performance from us tonight. Every time we upped our game we looked like we could score and with a bit more luck the game could have been over before HT. Other than the 1 little run before HT and the offside half-chance from the free-kick in the 2nd half they never came close to scoring.

Got a bit annoyed with all the Lucas stuff; you can say what you want about his ability but the constant talk Andy Gray started about him being a 'holding midfielder' is utter BS. When he plays alongside Masch he always looks to push forward; he may have played slightly further forward today than normal but not much, it just got noticed today because he played really well and he was massively involved in our attacks.
 
Fantastic to see Fulham go through, after Juve scored in the first few mintues everyone must have thought they were going out. Massive day for Fulham fans, well done.
 
Vidic is due a performance against Liverpool and given their problems defending set pieces I'm predicting him to score..... one day against Liverpool anyway :p
