Happy birthday Rotty, have a good one. :)

I think you have the privilege of being the only Liverpool supporter here to have been an adult when Liverpool last won the league. :p *runs*

Nice one Villa. Falling apart as usual this time of the year. I'd be furious if I was a Villa fan. Why was the Birmingham goal disallowed earlier?

Jesus this is painful to watch. Blow the final whistle now please. :p

We keep thumping the ball up the field and losing possession.

Ah you villa fans make me laugh.

A Carling cup final (which you were cheated out of), F.A Cup final semi final and 4 points off 4th place

What does it take to satisfy you?

Wise up Gustov, they got a penalty which they scored from. They had the next 84 minutes to try and win the game being 1-0 up. They couldn't beat 10 players at Villa Park against Man Utd only a few weeks before. 'Cheated out of' my ass. It's funny how you only appear here when Chelsea thrash a team.

Even I've had enough time to admit we didn't deserve to win. I know what he's getting at but what's the point dwelling on the potential red card now, it's done and it will never be changed. **** happens in football, you take the good with the bad. We might have won 3-0 with the red card, we might have gone too defensive and lost 4-1. You'll just never know :)

I agree. :)

I would have had no complaints had Vidic been sent off, I've just grown tired of some fans giving the impression that the only chance Villa had of winning was against 10 men. They found themselves in a brilliant position being 1-0 up after 6 minutes and didn't make good use of it.

Wise Up Linoge. You should have been down to 10 men which even Ferguson has admitted was a sending off. Regardless of the league game, a cup final is a completely different story.

See above.

Gustov no one is calling you a glory hunter. I've had to put up with being called a glory hunter from friends and people I've worked with despite supporting Man Utd since I was a kid, first memory being back in 1987. Just ignore it because as long a team is successful and popular the tag will always follow their fans and used by rival fans to wind you up. Don't let it. :)

He still needs surgery on his ankle and that's been on hold since the beginning of last season. Second half today was much better than the first, still a lot of needless giving the ball away, Neville being the main culprit. 4-0 scoreline a bit flattering, it suggests the game was more comfortable than it was. Really glad to be back on top, improve our goal difference by 4 and go into the Munich game on the back of a hard fought win. I hope Evra's shin doesn't swell to the size of a balloon tonight. We need him for Munich.

What a peach of a goal from Torres! His goal scoring record despite being injured on and off is very impressive.

Sunderland need to change things up, maybe they should bring on Beach Ball, it would give them a target up front. :p

Ah the witch hunt on Vidic has begun in today's papers. Great stuff just what we need ahead of the Chelsea game...

I agree PK, I've noticed in the last few months Mascherano has been much more adventurous with his passing and movement, it's definitely something he's been working on.

There is now quite a gap in goal difference which I'm sure will come into deciding second place. Liverpool could end up doing us both a favour and beating Chelsea in a few weeks.
