Indeed they are, I'm looking forward to his mammoth World Cup thread :p

 :p

I can't really get into football when we play on a Sunday, it gives me little motivation to sit down and watch the Saturday games. C'mon West Ham!

Hoping for a good game tomorrow and Vidic to stay on the pitch.

You manage 3 wins against us and suddenly we bottle it?

Our record before that....

02/03 - Won 2-1 at Anfield & Won 4-0 at OT
03/04 - Won 2-1 at Anfield & lost 1-0 at OT
04/05 - Won 2-1 at OT & Won 1-0 at Anfield
05/06 - Drew 0-0 at Anfield and Won 1-0 at OT
06/07 - Won 2-0 at OT and Won 1-0 at Anfield
07/08 - Won 1-0 at Anfield and won 3-0 at OT

Not too shabby eh ;)

It's ok, they are still coming to terms with taking a whopping 6 points of us last season yet still finishing 4 points behind. :D

He's probably just on a WUM anyway but any excuse to remind them of our record against them before their last few fluky results ;) :p

My definition of bottling it was Benitez and Liverpool last January. Only when the pressure and expectation of them winning their 19th title disappeared, did they suddenly start playing well again as the underdogs. And that's a facht. And here we are in their biggest 'bottleless' season I can remember. :p

Lovely finish from Milner, to get ahead of the Wolves players like that and tuck it away neatly past the big American keeper.

Petrov should be off.

On another note, it's good to see a team finally trying to lay claim to 4th place. Villa have lost their mojo, City never had mojo, and Liverpool sold their mojo last summer. :p

Both teams are in good form ahead of the match, but as we all know form means nothing for this fixture. The absolute non display at Anfield earlier in the season needs to be amended today with a win, and not just a scrappy one goal win (that of course I'd take) but a real footballing display. Torres and Rooney both in great form, it'll be a tale of the defences again. I hope Vidic has learned something from his 3 previous encounters with Torres, a 4th red card surely would be some sort of a record. :p

Nice to see Carragher and his usual going 'through the back of someone' tackles, and he has the nerve to moan to the referee about being rightfully booked. Torres being a whiny bitch as usual too. Reina in top form, best keeper in the league.

How come, when one of our midfielders finds himself in the most perfect positions, it's Park and no one else?

Looking forward to the second half.

Reasonable performance from us in the first half, only reason why we're not ahead is Webb which isn't a surprise after his 2 performances in our games against Arsenal earlier in the season.

The only reason you're not down to 10 men if because of that referee. Lenient isn't the word.

Owen giving advice on taking penalties :p

edit: and who exactly Linoge? If you're talking about Masch then no chance was that a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Carragher. As usual sliding through Rooney from behind. First at the half way line, should have been a yellow, and then the combination tackle on Fletcher (foul) and then Rooney (foul) in which he finally got his yellow card and then moaned about it.

Hats off to Park, despite fluffing or not controlling the ball multiple times during the game, he took that header brilliantly. Vidic and Ferdinand looked more assured as the game progressed.

I agree with Baz, I thought the referee was poor overall, he should have sent Carragher off and could have sent Torres off for being a whiny spiteful brat.
