English League Football [19th - 23rd Feb 2010] **spoilers**

As for Utd , its worth noting that Valencia hasn't got an assist or a goal against anyone outside of the bottom half, except Everton.

But he did get two goals against the best team in Russia and got one assist against AC Milan in Milan after only being on the pitch for a couple of minutes

DM in posting rubbish shocker

18 of Rooney's goals have come against the bottom half, with the other 5 against Arsenal(2), Spurs, CIty, and Birmingham on the opening game of the season, WAY before they got going. Only one of the his goals against the top 5 was a penalty.

How many of Fabregas' have come against teams in the top half? His goals against Everton clearly dont count as they hadn't got going either, so apart from those he's only got 2 against Villa & 1 against Spurs

Ahh but that wont count because Fiberglass is a midfielder.......

DM only has man love for city at the minute, they are currently the best team in the league.
Apart from the manager.
And the full backs.
And the midfield.....................

To be fair, if Bender scored a hatful against the lower half teams and 2 or 3 against the top half teams I'd take your hand off. Same applies for many strikers. If they've scored 20+ only slighty after x-mas it's a little silly to complain.

Does that make a difference? I didnt think he was playing anyway

As said, he's had a few games in the reserves after a fall out but he's one of our only central midfielders that can run forward with the ball and support the attack, it's a big loss and means we'll be seeing more of Gibson who is nowhere near as good.

EDIT: OH GOD I've just realised that means Gibson against Milan :(

I had a thought.....Owen H......nahhh sorry Im being ridiculous now:(

Gibson against the Villains in the Final is worrying enough, let alone against Milan (no disrespect meant to Villa in the slightest)

Maybe Fletcher doing the wide left role that OH did in Moscow, 1/2 winger 1/2 defensive mid? with Carrcik , Scholes and Valencia in the other positions (and of course Nani can still be used if necessary on the left although he is even more of a waste there than he is on the right lol)

Oh for **** sake.

It would be nice, just for a month or two this season, to have our two first choice centre-backs fit on a consistent basis.

Surely it's not too much to ask?

I don't think Spurs have had that in at least 2 seasons.
