English League Football [19th - 23rd Feb 2010] **spoilers**

But he did get two goals against the best team in Russia and got one assist against AC Milan in Milan after only being on the pitch for a couple of minutes

DM in posting rubbish shocker

How many of Fabregas' have come against teams in the top half? His goals against Everton clearly dont count as they hadn't got going either, so apart from those he's only got 2 against Villa & 1 against Spurs

Come back when I start claiming Fabregas is the bestest goal scorer in the whole wide world, and you might have a point.

I don't remember saying Rooney was bad anywhere either, nor that Valencia was. However you did pick up on something, he got another assist, against Milan, who other than being shattered BEFORE he came on and a completely different side in the 2nd to 1st half, he was also up against a 39yr old sub who has zero pace. Yes exactly, thats exactly who Valencia excels against, I've yet to see him have a great game against a great left back. Thanks for backing up my point. As for the best team in Russia, doesn't speak volumes to me to be honest, likewise, haven't 3-4 of his goals been horribly of target shots that deflected in incredibly flukily, can't remember what teams those goals went in against.

As for the rest of you choosing to pick and ignore things I said at will, and choosing to laugh at how obvious it was the bottom teams concede more, that wasn't the point, firstly EVERYONE, top to bottom every last team is conceding more AND scoring more than ever before. Its very likely the top three will match their goal scored record from last year, within the next 3 games, possibly even one game if its a big one, with another 12 games to go, its fairly pathetic to ignore the fact that everyone is in fact scoring more and conceding more. EVERY striker is finding it easier this year, Rooney's doing well, but he isn't the only striker to do so, they all are.
