English League Football [26th Feb - 2nd Mar 2010] **spoilers**

Didn't see the incident, but the looks on Cesc and Vermaelan's face say it all! Poor guy Ramsey, starting to play more and more often!!

So the "get in the faces of Arsenal", that rough attitude that teams deliberatly set out against us? Another broken leg directly from that...I mean seriously? Was Eduardo just for nothing then?

Come on lads, win it for the kid!

WATCH THE CHALLANGE AGAIN - IT WAS BAD LUCK!!!!!

Jesus christ man I'm glad your not president with over reactions like that.

Its true though....every team tries to kick Arsenal off the pitch, its part of the reason we have so many injuries

Just rewound it to watch it as I missed it the first time, definite broken ankle/leg, certainly wasn't a raised studs up challenge it was more of a follow through actually looked like he got him with his shin

I don't know how anyone can say Arsenal don't get kicked about, it's just the truth.

It is also natural. As a centre-half/centre-mid, if I'm up against someone trickier than me, or faster than me, I'll use the physical aspects of my game. I don't go in to injure them, just put them off their stride.

I don't know what this comment means. The Eduardo challenge and this one are similar in that in both it was bad luck, not a disgusting challenge, that caused the break.

In fairness, I don't think Shawcross went in to rough him up. It was a tough challenge with very unfortunate consequences. The look of regret of what had happened on Shawcross's face as he left the pitch showed that.

That didnt look good.

If anything, looks like a double break of the leg as opposed to an ankle injury, but gonna be another long and painful rehab for the poor kid.

Just watched back the challenge as I missed it first time and I think it was just unlucky the way shawcross went in, a bit mistimed but not malicious or catching a standing leg just very unlucky.

That Shawcross is a bit wet isn't he? Getting riled by a little kid like Fabregas taking the ball off him.

Well he had tears in his eyes after the challenge.

Your team gets no more harsh treatment than Ronaldo got when he was with us, less so if I'm perfectly honest

It's just bad luck that's it's led to bad injuries

The challenge on Eduardo wasn't a bad one nor was Shawcross' today

You can actually hear it if you wind the play back. Terrible :(

I agree it's a natural part of the game and Shawcross roughs people up all the time. On this occasion he got unlucky and he's got to live with that.

Fricking hell. Poor guy. We'll go on to lose this now. Players look shocked.

Feel bad for Shawcross, he was almost in tears. I don't think he went into do that to the guy, but lets be honest, to make some ones angle dangle off, its gotta be a bad tackle.

I really hope this isnt the end of Ramseys career.

Whitehead off.

You seemed to have missed my point. These kind of injuries are going to happen when you set out to play in that particular aforementioned style. We've had injuries in between Eduardo and this that have been as a result of fouls. It seems to be an attitude to "rough up" Arsenal, as said before, fine, be physical but some teams cross the line.

Yes it's bad luck, and it's a consequence of the aforementioned style of play. Legs are eventually going to break and as the style's remained fashionable it was only a matter of time before it happened again.
